AMELIA

Using prompts is new to me and it's opened up a whole new way to write from my own experiences and starting to include the body in the process... One major shift for me was that I wasn't expecting the prompts and writing to bypass my mind so much and be so revealing, reaching a depth I wasn't expecting. I love that I have discovered this as I perceived writing as a purely conscious cognitive process. I am finding more and more love for writing.

This Is for You If...

  • Life feels overwhelming and you’re craving space
  • You want to listen to your intuition but don’t know where to start
  • You’re ready to take small, manageable steps
  • You long for support that feels safe, kind, and sustainable

About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah, the creator of Storytelling for the Soul. I’m not a doctor or therapist. I’m someone who’s walked this path personally, using journaling and body-based practices to reconnect with myself and gently shift the way I live and feel.

My work is rooted in lived experience, deep exploration, and a commitment to safe, trauma-informed support. I create a nurturing space where you feel seen, heard, and held.

Through writing, embodied processing, mindfulness and somatic techniques, I support women in midlife to gently explore what may be holding them back, so they can reconnect with themselves and begin creating a life that feels calm, meaningful and true to them.

What It's Like to Work with Me

In less than a year, the value of Sarah's journaling and the learning of embodied processing has not only lifted me from full-body pain but has also cleared me from multiple mental struggles. Following Sarah's guided writing prompts and supportive encouragement, infused with embodied processing, is a must for compassionate, effective self-care. What a great combination.

Whilst I already love writing, having time with Sarah has opened my eyes to how important the body/soul connection really is. Her gentle and quiet way of guiding me through her process made it feel easier for me to let go and dive into what I needed to feel and hear. I walked away feeling lighter and clearer on where I might need to do more work, and what my body really wants me to know. Thanks Sarah for a wonderful session!

More people need to learn more about your work; how you teach expressive writing from a trauma-informed perspective makes all the difference - definitely don't want to leave people in a triggered state when doing expressive writing; which differentiates you from other teachers of expressive writing.
