Before Soulful Steps, Mia knew the benefits of writing but needed help with consistency and accountability to write regularly.
What we did
- We implemented fortnightly sessions over 3-months. Yes, life happened and we had to juggle things around here and there but ultimately, Mia kept showing up for herself
- We practiced nervous system regulation techniques in session so that Mia could use them if writing triggered her and outside of sessions as needed whenever life happened
- Worked with where Mia was at and whatever she felt called to explore each session. My only goal for each session was to hold space and be present with Mia

- Feels very in tune with her hopes, desires, values and wishes
- Is very capable of setting healthy boundaries with others
