Move from feeling 'stuck' to being in 'flow'

Have you heard all about the benefits of writing daily but feel 'stuck' when it comes to getting started and being consistent? Like the idea of writing your thoughts down each day but caught in overwhelm?

If you answered yes to these questions, the Unlocking Your Write to Thrive 5 Day Challenge is for you!

Psychologists have discovered that the average person has over 6,000 thoughts in one day. So, what happens to all of these thoughts if they have nowhere to go? Think of magma exploding from the top of a volcano like an overflowing cup. Ultimately, our thoughts need somewhere productive to go... or else they seep into other areas of our lives and drain our energy.

Scientists have been acknowledging the benefits of writing for years

Expressive writing is proven to not only help with depression, anxiety and trauma, but also with strengthening the immune system, lowering blood pressure and helping people to focus and gain clarity about their future.

Writing doesn't come naturally to everyone and that's okay!

Here's my question to you:

What if changing your day-to-day reality was as easy as writing things down consistently?

As a writer, I'm one of the lucky ones. I love to write. Yet, in the past, even I have found myself feeling 'stuck' when trying to develop a regular writing practice. I've found myself staring at a blank page. I tried apps. I tried buying myself fancy stationary. Time and time again, I'd start and stop. I struggled to build momentum.

What changed things was making a simple promise to myself to spend 10 minutes, each morning, writing... with prompts at the ready! This approach left no room for second guessing myself and I considered breaking that promise two days in a row (no, I'm not perfect, life happens and I do skip days every now and again) to be a form of self-betrayal.

I know the difference a daily writing practice has made in my life and I want you to experience this change for yourself. Drawing on science, I hope to inspire you to embrace and see for yourself how writing for you, and you alone, can help you to reframe your experiences.
