Has life become an overwhelming

balancing act that leaves you

with no time or energy?

Introducing the Soulful Steps
Pilot Program

Soulful Steps is a gentle, empowering 3-month program designed to help you reconnect with yourself; set healthier boundaries; become curious about your triggers; and avoid burnout so that you can create meaningful change in your life. Together, we'll identify the tools you need to ensure 2025 doesn't become another repeat of 2024. After all, if nothing changes, nothing changes.

Ready to Commit to Change?

Let’s create space for you. Together, we’ll navigate the challenges you're experiencing as a woman in the 'sandwich generation'. This means you're likely carrying the weight of caring for ageing parents while raising or supporting teenage children. It’s an overwhelming balancing act that often leaves little time for you. Or perhaps you're like me, you don't have kids or ageing parents but you're life is one big balancing act and you are tired.

Why Soulful Steps?

This isn’t just 'another program'. Your progress is important to me. I ended a membership program because after speaking with my ideal clients (aka, people like you) I realised it wasn't serving people as it needed to. Soulful Steps is a customised, compassionate, collaborative experience designed to meet you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll create meaningful, practical steps to help you feel more connected, empowered, and in control of your life.

For a limited time, join Soulful Steps at 50% off as part of my Pilot Program in return for your feedback and assistance with making my program as impactful as it can possibly be. This offer is only available to 3 people as part of the Pilot Program.

*Payment plans are available upon request. Please send an email to: info@sarahcannata.com

My availability is after 5pm AEDT and at certain times on weekends. I will have more flexibility from 23 December to 19 January 2025. Once you have committed, I'll work with you to find times and dates that work for us both. You can also pay now and have your first session from 1 February 2025 onwards (I understand the holiday break can be a hectic time).

About Me

Hello, I'm Sarah! Thanks for stopping by. I have a Bachelor of Journalism and have worked in communications since 2009. In addition to publishing a picture book, Willow Willpower, I've been published widely in media, including The Huffington Post, Elephant Journal, Mamamia, The Age, Women's Agenda, SBS Online and more. I'm a certified Embodied Processing Practitioner with the Centre for Healing in Australia. Embodied processing is a body-based approach to working with trauma. I have a pretty rare personal story and if you'd like to hear more, I am happy to share. Drop me a message. What's most important for you to understand is that change is possible and you are capable of so much more than you realise.

What You’ll Receive

Over 12 weeks, you’ll take part in fortnightly 45-minute coaching sessions (6 sessions total) that prioritise:

  • Safety: A space where your feelings are honoured and respected.
  • Trust: A supportive partnership built on genuine understanding.
  • Choice: Tailored practices that suit your unique needs and circumstances.
  • Empowerment: Tools to help you feel grounded, capable and ready to thrive.

You’ll also have online access to me between sessions via your preferred platform, whether that’s Facebook Messenger, email, or something else.

What We'll Cover Together

Session 1: Grounding Your Journey

  • Define what you hope to gain through the program.
  • Explore where you’re at right now.
  • Learn gentle, trauma-informed concepts to support you.
  • Create a foundation of safety and trust.

Sessions 2-5: Tailored Support for You

Each session begins with a check-in and is then customised to meet your unique needs. Examples of what we may explore include:

  • Resourcing practices to build your capacity.
  • Embodied journaling to reconnect with your body and emotions.
  • Creative techniques or self-care strategies that align with your life.
  • Space to process, reflect and discover.

Session 6: Reflecting and Moving Forward

  • Reflect on your growth over the past 3 months.
  • Decide what’s next: continue coaching, explore membership options, or take your new skills forward independently.

You created, through your compassion and understanding, a safe platform for me to express myself which allowed me to find deeper healing, something that I had not anticipated would be an outcome of this writing journey. It has been such a pleasure working with you.

Working with Sarah was one of the most productive things I’ve ever done even though I believed I didn’t have time for writing. Through her guidance, Sarah showed me how to use writing to see what I really needed to in my life. This new-found awareness means I can now make decisions that are moving me closer to my short and long-term goals.

More people need to learn more about your work; how you teach expressive writing from a trauma-informed perspective makes all the difference - definitely don't want to leave people in a triggered state when doing expressive writing; which differentiates you from other teachers of expressive writing.
